Vampire Fall Origins Finding the Lost Son Again
Painful Difficulty (#two)
The side by side step is running through the game five more than times so nosotros can practice Brutal Mazes. Let's talk more than about precisely why that is. Yous already know nearly upgrading the level of an item, but you can also upgrade the quality at certain points. At playthrough two, iv and 6 you unlock new qualities. They increment stats by quite a flake more than upgrading the level of the item, and add a bonus to max HP on each particular, even if it didn't accept that stat before. There'due south also an item quality aureola for having everything be the aforementioned quality. The highest quality is Pristine, and that'south what we demand if we desire to do the Brutal mazes, as some of the bosses have hundreds of thousands of HP and practice tonnes of harm.
In order to upgrade the quality of an particular, information technology needs to exist a certain level. For Improved, which is the quality we unlock when playthrough 2 starts, an particular needs to exist +3 or higher. It costs a flat amount of bloodstones to upgrade the quality and works 100% of the time. 16 for the weapon and offhand, and eight for everything else. So there's a bloodstone price to get it to the right level, and a cost to upgrade it, which is why we needed to hoard them. The level needed and the bloodstone cost go upwardly with each quality tier. I'll talk virtually the other two tiers when nosotros unlock them in the walkthrough. Note that the upgrade level doesn't go down when you upgrade the quality, and so don't exist afraid to upgrade a weapon by what a quality tier requires if you have the extra bloodstones.
The practiced news is that since the item quality aura is pretty low compared to the stat increases from upgrading, and so you don't need EVERYTHING to exist upgraded to the highest quality, even for the Brutal Mazes. Getting your weapon and a couple pieces of armour should exist good plenty, though information technology's worth taking everything to Superior because the chances to upgrade level to +five aren't bad, only +vi and +7 for Pristine are rough. Note that yous can purchase equipment with quality already upgraded. For case, in playthrough two you can buy Improved quality items, yet these will exist +0, price quite a flake of gold you lot won't accept since you're rushing through the game, and most of the equipment tin can't exist bought until late in the game. In short, information technology'southward of express use.
Anyhow, I'll be giving a brief description of the story from now on. We've done information technology once, don't demand to practice the side stuff, so it's all virtually blazing through the game ASAP to rebirth again, and go along until we reach Infernum and can try the Fell Mazes.

Did y'all destroy the center or mind
Is the witchmaster dead or live
Did you bite sava or turn down
Did you notice Vaso'southward son or didn't bother
-Now defeat Sava. You are again depending on him non removing your focus regen before your commencement philharmonic plough. If he does, you lot have to try and survive it. I would suggest stacking Fortify until he either removes your focus regen or your first combo plow comes upwards, and then Acuminate and Heavy Thrust to a hopeful victory. Otherwise you'll have to pray to RNGesus for plenty blocks/dodges to make information technology past the debuff.
Horror Playthrough (#iii)You lot practise not unlock a higher quality tier this time. However, Superior quality items tin can drop now. The odds of getting a Superior drop of an detail you're using is really low though, so not much is going to modify for this playthrough. Everything has more HP and gives amend experience/golden basically. Sadly, around the Lurkwood Witch on map 2 the game starts to be a picayune rough. Enemies practice most 1/3 of your health with 1 attack, and Seize with teeth scales so poorly information technology's not enough to go on y'all topped up. At this point, starting with Fortify isn't a bad idea, though it won't make a huge divergence. This is when you start hoping y'all get lucky with dodges/blocks.
Nightmare Playthrough (#4)You can now upgrade your gear to Superior at +v, or buy it. Upgrading your weapon/shield to Superior will cost xviii BS, everything else volition exist 12 BS. I eventually starting using a new combat social club. I would start with Fracture every plough until the combo turn, and then I'd do Fracture twice, Sharpen, Petrify, and then as many Heavy Thrusts every bit I could practice. There's going to be a lot of fights later on where yous won't kill the enemy start philharmonic turn unless you get some crits, and despite having 27% crit, I definitely didn't seem to crit 1 in 4 attacks. Oh well.
Hell Playthrough (#5)Pristine gear tin can drib, simply much similar the Horror playthrough it's super unlikely you'll get a drop of something you lot can use. The game is harder, your gear is not better. The tail end of this playthrough is pretty rough, I died a few times. Despite having 79% contrivance and 40% block there were some fights where I'd get hitting multiple times in a row AND the dodging expiry bloodline didn't pop (50% risk btw), and in that location were multiple fights where despite 30% crit chance I would never crit in 5-10 attacks. In brusque, this playthrough is accented pain. I had 300k gold and only lost 23 aureate for dying so it's non like dying matters much, only it's pretty abrasive. At this signal, you aren't going to level upwards much more than (mayhap one time if at all) so it might be a adept idea to respec. The bonus aureate and experience bloodlines aren't going to do much at this point, but y'all practice lose the ability to have three crafting slots and the 5th potion slot, so I'd probably only do it if you're doing pretty good on bloodstones. As for the concluding fight, he has 130k HP and unless yous get a few crits on your first combo turn, you take to hope he doesn't remove all your focus regen, as yous probably won't survive the 12 turns while yous expect it out. You lot will get a tiny bit from dodging and each philharmonic turn, but information technology likely won't exist plenty to kill him before you die.
Infernum Playthrough (#6)This is it, the last playthrough. Pristine unlocks for upgrading and buy. The bad news is this is the roughest playthrough of them all, the good news is you can stop right after you open the second stone door in Denumald, because you can reach all the mazes then. You still accept to go through well-nigh of the game though. When you've opened that door, caput to the next page to finally stop this game up.
