Watch Dogs: Legion is the third game in the Watch Dogs franchise and a sequel to the 2016' game. In this game, Ubisoft answers the question, What does the post-Brexit future hold for the City of London? This time you will play in a city smothered by an all-seeing surveillance state, where private mercenaries roam the streets freely. It's up to you to recruit a resistance, fight back, and save the city.

Somewhere between 15-20 hours of gameplay, you'll get to Watch Dogs: Legion's final chapter where you get to find out who was behind the Zero-Day bombings. After you complete that last milestone credits start rolling down and you officially have beaten the game, but wait... there's more!

10/10 Play With Permadeath Mode

Rule #1 of video games: death doesn't work the same way in games as it does in real life (Rule #2 is to always check behind waterfalls). It doesn't matter if you're saving princesses or exploring the wild west, during your adventures you'll encounter enemies that will kill your character if you give them a chance. At least you know you can always load back your save file and try again and again and again.

Unless you're a hardcore gamer with a taste for challenges, in that case, you'll love Watch Dogs: Legion's Permadeath mode. Once enabled, this extra challenging mode will permanently kill your operatives after they take any lethal damage, losing them forever. Naturally, this means is game over if all your operatives get killed.

9/10 Try Co-Op Mode

On December 3, a free update will add online multiplayer, an early Christmas present from Ubisoft. This new feature adds a cooperative mode that'll allow you to team up with other players to complete missions and wreck Landaan.

This update will give you access to an online free roam co-op, giving you a chance to explore the open-world map with your friends. Ubisoft is also adding special 2-4 player co-op missions to replace single-player objectives. On the same note, there will be tactical ops; these need to be played with four players and will be different from a regular in-game single-player mission.

8/10 Try Out PVP

Check out the PVP mode that will also be released with the co-op update and compete with other players! You will be able to play in the Spider-Bot Arena. This new mode gathers four to eight players in a deathmatch so they can fight using the new arachnid bots.

Later on, Invasion mode will make a comeback for this installment of the series. This mode drops one player into another player's game. The idea here is for the "invader" (disguised as an NPC) to steal data from the other player without getting caught.

7/10 Go On A Easter Egg Hunt

Watch Dogs: Legion takes place on Landaan, a fictionalized futuristic version of London that has become a surveillance state run by authoritarian populists. While playing, you'll have the ability to explore the city using vehicles, by foot, or fast-traveling via Landaan's Underground stations.

While exploring, you can encounter numerous easter eggs scattered all over the city. Some of them are nods to previous Ubisoft titles, while others tie into Britain's culture. If you pay attention to your surroundings, you'll find things like The Doctor's Tardis (from Doctor Who) or a mural dedicated to David Bowie.

6/10 Find All Masks

Disruptive fashion is a big part of Watch Dogs: Legion's aesthetic. With the ability to recruit almost every NPC in the game, you will want your team members to look like the dystopian characters of your dreams.

Scattered all over the city, you can find a fair amount of masks that you can collect, some of them are easier to find than others. If you don't know where to start, you should just pay attention to the mask icons on your mini-map, once you get there, search for a blue box. The rest is up to you to figure out!

5/10 Try Out Different Types Of Recruits

One of Watch Dogs: Legion's selling points is the ability to recruit anyone you see on the streets of Landaan. Each recruit comes with its own set of unique skills and traits. You'll have to think things thoroughly to maximize the potential of this game mechanic and make a powerful team.

But in your second play through you can go bonkers and recruit any NPC you feel like. That guy whose special ability was to fart loudly? Add him to the team and see what happens on stealth missions.

4/10 Try A Different Approach

There are three primary ways you can complete this game. The stealth approach relies on infiltration and silent takedowns. Remotely focused gameplay uses different combinations of hacks and gadgets to achieve the objectives. And finally, combat-focused players will run headfirst into trouble.

While you could beat the game using a combination of all three, you should focus on one of them so you can spend your tech points wisely and make the most out of that trait. In any case, the second time around is your opportunity to switch things up and try new strategies innovate maybe you will find a better way.

3/10 Look For QR Codes

Ubisoft hid 16 QR codes all around the city. Once you find one, you'll need to line up cameras in a specific way to scan the QR code. The tricky part is that each code can only be scanned from a particular camera, as long as it has the correct line of sight to it.

After successfully scanning all of these codes, players will unlock the Gangster submachine. This weapon is a high-capacity submachine gun with medium damage and a high fire rate.

2/10 Find New Ways To Farm ETO

ETO is the main currency in the game, which you can use to purchase skins, clothes, or paint your vehicle. You will earn this in-game currency by completing the main storyline and sidequest missions or just by searching for ETO safes throughout the city.

Something players wish they knew before starting the game, is that you can get creative and find new ways to earn this currency through world activities. For example, you could find a job in Parcel Fox (Parcel Fox is a delivery company. They use Parcel Fox Drones to deliver packages). This courier service allows you to earn ETO by delivering boxes. Be careful though, as some packages are fragile, timed, or marked as contraband (which will attract Albion's attention).

1/10 Liberate All The Boroughs

Watch-Dogs-Legion-Map

At the start of the game, there are eight boroughs under Albion's control. On your first hours of gameplay, you need to liberate the first one, Camden. Once the mission is over, you get to decide how and when to flip the rest of them.

Liberating boroughs will unlock Tech Point locations for that area and unlock a skilled operative that is specific to that Borough. Also, these side quests are necessary if you want to go through 100% of the game content.
