*Check-In & Registration begins at 8:15am
*Masks are required at all times while indoors.
*Clothes in solid black dance or workout attire.
*Vesture athletic/dance shoes, socks or be barefoot.
*Acquire and perform a hip-hop and jazz dance.
*Bring a water bottle & eat healthy before the upshot.
*No visitors or spectators are allowed at this event.

INTRODUCTION TO Trip the light fantastic toe COURSE:
*Dance I, Beginning
This class offers beginning dance technique and choreography. Students will be introduced to various dance styles, including ballet and modernistic dance, jazz and tap dance, social and cultural dance, and contemporary and hip-hop trip the light fantastic toe. Students will gain an appreciation for trip the light fantastic as an art class and develop foundational skills necessary to pursue a variety of careers in dance. This course includes the application of the choreographic elements and principles, the study of history and evolution of dance, and an exploration of dance from a careers perspective. This course meets the Visual and Performing Arts graduation requirement, Grades nine-12; ane-twelvemonth equivalent, 10 credits.Pre-Requisite: None.
INTERMEDIATE Dance COURSES:
*Dance Ii, Intermediate
This grade offers intermediate dance technique and choreography. Students develop intermediate trip the light fantastic skills of the various trip the light fantastic toe styles, including ballet and modernistic dance, jazz and tap dance, social and cultural trip the light fantastic toe, and contemporary and hip-hop dance. Students will proceeds a deeper connection to trip the light fantastic toe as an art form and develop intermediate skills necessary to pursue a multifariousness of careers in trip the light fantastic. Students will be introduced to production elements such as staging, lighting and sound, and company organization and management in professional dance careers.This course may exist repeated for a maximum of xx credits, Grades 10-12; one-year equivalent, 10 credits.Pre-Requisite: Successful completion of a first-level dance course and/or audience.
*Hip-Hop Dance
This class offers intermediate dance technique and choreography with an accent on hip-hop manufacture move. This course offers advanced trip the light fantastic technique and choreography skills to create project-based performances for alive, film, and video product. Students will develop avant-garde trip the light fantastic toe skills of various trip the light fantastic styles, including ballet and modern trip the light fantastic toe, jazz and tap trip the light fantastic toe, social and cultural dance, and contemporary and hip-hop trip the light fantastic toe. Students will reflect upon their trip the light fantastic studies and found their own voice within the world of dance. Students will fix audition or choreographic portfolios, learn business/managerial skills, and develop a professional career program.This course may be repeated for a maximum of 20 credits, Grades 11-12; ane-year equivalent, x credits. Pre-Requisite: Successful completion of an intermediate-level dance gradeAND audience.

FUSION Trip the light fantastic Company is a diverse group of passionate Franklin HS students defended to the subject field and art of trip the light fantastic.FUSION is a form, an afterwards-schoolhouse grooming programme, a student-governed society, a community booster, and a team. Dancers insideFUSION are committed to developing their dance & choreography skills. Dancers clothing designatedFUSION uniforms for grade, rehearsals & performances, participate in fundraising, and collaborate with guest artists in the community. Dancers enroll in a rigorous 20-credit dance course with pre-professional person expectations. Dancers plant their ain voice in the world of dance with advanced choreography projects for performance. Dancers also create and develop dance concerts for the community. Pre-Requisite: ApplicationAND auditionAND functioning eligibility requirements.
